Counseling is a collaboration, and I enjoy working with clients to help them identify their goals and make positive changes. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as a framework to assist in increasing psychological flexibility, making it easier to roll with life's punches.
I am experienced working with substance abuse and other addictions, anxiety, depression, and the various co-occurring disorders that come with those challenges. By incorporating other therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Brainspotting and Behavior therapy, I work to ensure the counseling interventions fit each clients specific needs.
My experience includes offering family services, ABA therapy, and facilitating groups for substance abuse and trauma, which helps to enrich my perspective working individually with clients on thinking patterns, behaviors, and life in general.
