As a therapist with a passion for attachment, child development and family support, I understand the importance of early intervention and the lasting impact it can have on a child’s emotional and social development. I specialize in supporting young children (2+), teens, and families navigating a range of challenges, including anxiety, behavioral concerns, life transitions, trauma, and self-esteem issues. My approach is tailored to meet each child’s unique needs, blending play therapy with talk therapy to engage them in ways that feel natural and supportive. I use play, art, activity-based exercises, and skill-building strategies.

I graduated from Spring Arbor University earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have several years of experience working with children and families in various roles including teaching preschool, working with children in foster care, and providing therapy in school settings. Each of these experiences has equipped me with a broad range of skills in supporting children and families.

My practice is rooted in evidence-based techniques such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy). I prioritize strengthening the bonds within your family and fostering secure attachments.

By working together, we can build foundational skills that will empower your child/teen to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. If you are ready to begin this healing journey and take the next step for your child and family, I invite you to reach out!
