Danielle Kriengsak-obhas
MA, LLP, CAADC
I graduated Central Michigan University with two Bachelor degrees in psychology and sociology. I received my Master’s degree in counseling psychology at Western Michigan University. I have four years of experience working as a therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. In those four years, I’ve worked with the adult population in individual and group therapy. My specialties include substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. I operate from a person-centered approach and utilize a range of interventions that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic Experience (SE).
I take a collaborative approach to therapy. Instead of telling you what to do, I work with you in confronting and addressing life’s problems. I am ready to provide support when life can be as unpredictable as it is stressful.
