Grace Hall Shannon
Hi! I’m Grace Hall Shannon and Child Mental Health is my top priority. I value the sense of belonging, self-esteem, and resilience. When working with your child, we will be able to accomplish and establish important needs/wants for the betterment of their development. By using empathetic approaches and solution-focused techniques, we will be able to achieve healthy emotional, mental, and physical goals, together.
I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from Western Michigan University in 2024. My educational focus was Holistic Health and Wellness. In 2022, I graduated with my degree in Behavioral Science Psychology. I have much experience working within non-profit organizations, mental health facilities, school settings, and KRESA. Through these experiences, I have been able to conduct play-therapy, mindfulness practices, and behavior management skills that achieve both professional and personal goals. The importance of brain-body connections with children is essential, especially when trying to identify emotions and feelings. Emotions and feelings can be hard to explain, but together, we will be able to understand and focus on the “why” and “what” factors behind them.
I look forward to helping your child grow to their fullest potential, one session at a time.
